The Gamma Beta Phi Society is a national collegiate honor society. Gamma Beta Phi focuses on promoting the highest levels of scholarship through academic success, serving as a catalyst for civic engagement through community service (locally, regionally, and nationally), and promoting character development through servant leadership.

At Howard Payne, Gamma Beta Phi accepts new members in the Spring of each school year, and we focus on serving the local community through a variety of service opportunities and strive to be leaders on campus. The Howard Payne chapter is a member of the national organization and has been recognized for its excellence.
